A NEW CHAPTER

Why not now?

My family and I are currently starting a new chapter in life. Besides the obvious state of the world right now and all of the changes that a global pandemic brings - we’ve sold our first home together, moved out, and we’re in the process of building our dream home. 

There’s something about packing up nearly everything I own and moving it into storage that has given me the feeling of a blank slate. It feels like the beginning of a new chapter in life.

We’ll be staying in a Frisco Corporate Homes rental while we complete the building process for our new home, so there will be no unpacking, organizing, or decorating for the next couple of months. I feel like I finally have the time to work on the interior design for our new space and I couldn’t be more excited!

Although there is so much going on right now, I’ve realized that there’s never a “right time” to start something new.

I’ve decided to stop waiting to share my passions and what God is teaching me.

I’m hoping this blog & shop will be a source of inspiration, a quick mental escape from the heavier things of the world, and a place to share beauty if nothing else.

Also, I am not by any means an interior designer! So I am asking for advice on where to shop, practical design ideas and general feedback on what looks good. 

First up - our kitchen, living room and dining room...they’re all one big space! I’ll be tackling this design challenge first!
